Corinthian & Parrish St

For twenty years we lived near the corner of Corinthian and Parrish St in Philadelphia. We all called it the DMZ. It is where the White, Black and Latino neighborhoods joined. Everybody on this street accepted each other for who they are. There were a lot of inter-racial couples on the street both gay and straight. The major occupation of the home owners was teacher followed by artist. The politicians wanted nothing to do with us because they could not lump us into a stereotype except "different".
