ArtUp invites you to the opening reception of Redacted, a group exhibition exploring absence, concealment, and interruption.
Drawing from the visual language of censorship and erasure, the works on view examine what is withheld, obscured, or left incomplete—and how those gaps shape meaning. Across varied practices, the artists respond to redaction both literally and metaphorically, addressing memory, power, vulnerability, and the limits of representation.
Rather than presenting fixed narratives, Redacted invites speculation. What is hidden becomes active, shaping what remains visible. Meaning emerges not only through presence, but through omission.
