Connie and I have been partners for over 35 years now. We have had many ups and downs as life has to give. I am watching us both age. Her hands are destroyed from years of hard work making art, renovating houses, and gardening. The "tough " art women I knew in my youth are paying the price for the damage that they did to their bodies by being one of the guys. Connie is returning to her first love textiles. She is making quilts and hooked rugs again. We continue to do video and a lot of digital photography. As I get older I have less interest in processed imagery. I enjoy the skill and lack of skill of the hand made object.
